The French artist Béatrice Balcou creates situations that propose innovative exhibition rituals, challenging our way of looking at and perceiving objects, especially works of art. Focusing on attention to the materiality of the work of art and the behavior of the spectator, the Brussels-based artist investigates the perceived value of art and the role attributed to it by our contemporary lifestyles.
