A historical interpretation experience centred on the fishing community of Cascais, between the late 19th century and the early 20th century. The common thread is an old book of tales and tides, through which the audience discovers everyday life on the beach, the sale of the catch, the dangers of the fishing trade, the waiting of the families and the importance of local maritime memory. The activity begins in the everyday atmosphere of Praia da Ribeira. The arrival of the catch, the nets, the work carried out on land and the street cries of the fishwives introduce the audience to a Cascais deeply connected to the sea. The old diary gradually reveals small entries about the life of the community, acting as a bridge between the objects, the customs and the human stories. Approximately 50-60 minutes, adapted to the pace, age and participation of the group. Information: 214 815 954 / 214 815 950 (call to the national fixed-line network); [email protected].
