Abalar, the debut album by Portuguese artist Helena Caldeira, is presented on November 4th at Teatro Maria Matos. The record explores a combination of traditional sound with contemporary electronics, and is dedicated to women, the countryside and the Alentejo in a tribute to cultural heritage and a call to one's origins.
