Brief Introduction FRINGE EMBROIDERY WORKSHOP As part of the exhibition “VENUS - Valentino Garavani through the eyes of Joana Vasconcelos” Conception and guidance: A Avó Veio Trabalhar In this workshop, as part of the exhibition VENUS, Valentino Garavani through the eyes of Joana Vasconcelos, A Avó Veio Trabalhar invites participants to explore embroidery techniques applied to fringe, experimenting with textures, colors, stitches and shapes. Each participant will receive a small three-dimensional textile piece, which will be the starting point for creating a unique composition. Accompanied by the Grandmothers, they will learn and try out different embroidery techniques, in a moment of sharing, creativity and discovery.
