Brief Introduction Transatlantic Biographies is a programme of visits to the permanent exhibition of the Museu de Lisboa, Palácio Pimenta, followed by a conversation about slavery, the Inquisition and religiosity. The second session of this programme is dedicated to Páscoa Vieira. Synopsis The trial against Páscoa Vieira, an Angolan woman enslaved in the 17th century, reveals the challenges of an inquisitorial process in the Atlantic context.
