Joanna Latka will be guiding the Metal Etching Workshop in the intaglio (eau-forte) technique. This workshop aims to establish a first contact with these printmaking techniques or simply to revisit the materials and instruments needed for the procedure. This mini training course will have a strongly experimental character (trying to etch on metal, checking the results achieved through this unique support, different strokes, textures, marks later obtained on paper). From this perspective, the proposal is to open up space for experimentation and the creation of small artistic projects, where participants can discover their abilities, tastes and talents and use them creatively, as well as successfully apply technical knowledge in practice.
