A Parcel of Words | Workshop

Saturday 12 December · 10:30

Museu do Oriente., Lisbon

Brief IntroductionSaturday | 12 DecemberHOURS: 10.30 , 12.30DURATION: 120'TARGET AUDIENCE: For families [children M/12 years]PARTICIPANTS: Min. 5 | Max. 15In Japanese culture, the act of offering a gift implies great care with the context, with the recipient and even with the wrapping, which is as important as the content. In this workshop, which navigates between words and origami, we will listen to the Tale of the Samurai and the Gift, which will make us reflect on giving and receiving. But what if we offered words? Words with intention, of strength, hope or joy, words that care and that we wish to be received. As for the wrapping, we know it must be pleasing to the eye, as that is a requirement to be met.We will make an origami, accompanied by illustrated tutorials, with cover and back cover lined and with a ribbon to close it. Fold after fold, we will reinforce our intention, so that this Christmas, words chosen with care bring all that is good to those who receive them.In case of withdrawal: A full refund of the registration fee will be given when the withdrawal is communicated up to 8 working days before the activity. After that date, the refund can only be considered if the place is filled or in situations of illness, accident, or other unforeseeable circumstances of force majeure, duly proven. If the activity does not take place due to lack of participants, or for any other reason, the registration fee will be refunded in full. For more information contactPricesEntrance - 9€
