Igor Jesus (Lisbon, 1989) has been developing work in the field of sculpture with frequent use of technological devices, namely videographic images, sound and, more recently, photography, often using obsolete or disused technologies, which he subverts. The exhibition trans- brings together a small set of works from his recent past, but presents, above all, a set of sculptural pieces specifically conceived for this exhibition, as well as a new series of photographs and also a group of three videographic sculptures. In all the works his interest in the mutability of things, in states of transition and change (hence the title), is evident, generating objects and situations for which we have no name or cataloguing. The exhibition will be the subject of a catalogue with documentation of the works and texts by Delfim Sardo (also curator), Joana Neves and Sara de Chiara. Tuesday to Sunday, from 10am to 1pm/2pm to 6pm. Technical sheet: Curated by Delfim Sardo.
