Behind , a new solo exhibition by Ksawery Komputery, a Polish creative technology studio founded by Ksawery Kirklewski, oriented towards immersive, experimental experiences accessible to audiences beyond the specialized digital art circuit. Behind , part of what we normally do not see when technology seems to work instantly. Code, hardware, cameras, circuits, tests, prototypes, failures and experiments cease to be hidden and become part of the exhibition itself. The title refers precisely to this gesture: looking beyond the surface and understanding how a technological work is built, tested and put into operation. For Ksawery Komputery, technology is not just a tool or a support. The studio works with creative coding, generative systems, generative Artificial Intelligence, light, sound, cameras and hardware developed in-house to create new media works in which code, science and mathematics transform into image, movement and experience. The central idea is simple and accessible: highly technical systems can produce surprising, sensory and stimulating visual results. Conceived above all as an immersive experience, Behind , occupies the two floors of the gallery with a sensory proposal in which the visual component takes on the leading role, supported by sound. On the upper floor, interactive works, light pieces, screen works, objects, process materials and PCB elements appear in a scenography of concrete blocks, cables and deliberately visible components. PCBs are printed circuit boards that integrate electronic components and are part of the very materiality of the works. Many pieces are accompanied by screens or other supports that reveal the process behind each work, from tests and technology to the experiments and decisions that led to the final result. On the lower floor, the exhibition takes on a more enveloping dimension, with an installation of an almost labyrinthine configuration that leads the visitor through a dark, visual and sonic environment. Tuesday to Saturday, from 2 pm to 7 pm. digital art installation.
