A Casa da Liberdade, Mário Cesariny presents a new solo exhibition by the acclaimed Mozambican artist Reinata Sadimba, curated by Carlos Cabral Nunes. Developed from the concept The Healing Touch Series, originally conceived during the sculptor's artistic residency with Perve Galeria in 2023, and successfully presented on international stages such as ARCOlisboa, 1-54 London, AKAA Paris and Art Dubai, this show takes the form of an immersive exhibition-installation of great visual and conceptual impact. The works stem from the artist's Makonde cultural heritage, where figuration has historically played a ritualistic and shamanic role, associated with processes of healing and regeneration. Each installation functions as a true contemporary altar, bringing together pieces created throughout Reinata's career that address social issues, challenge perceptions of reality and underscore the transformative and cathartic power of art in the face of mental and collective challenges.
