Synopsis Between unexpected encounters and small choices, in these five stories we discover that there are simple gestures that make the world a better place. Alarm Clock (Czech Republic, Animation, No dialogue, 10 min.) Long ago, in a cold Nordic country, a man did his arduous work, which was to wake other people up. But one day, a shiny bell changed his life. The Golden Turtle (Belgium, France, Animation, Dubbed in Portuguese, 13 min.) A fisherman and his wife live happily in their humble home. One day, the man finds, trapped in his nets, a turtle with a golden shell. The turtle promises the fisherman that all his wishes will come true if he releases it. Vó Ita's Fable (Brazil, Live action, Spoken in Portuguese, 5 min.) Gisa has hair full of life and personality, but her schoolmates make fun of it. In this fable of fantasy and reality told between cloths and fabrics, Vó Ita involves her granddaughter Gisele to show her the beauty of differences and the value of her own identity. Troll Trap (Germany, Animation, Dubbed in Portuguese, 8 min.) Need a circus act? Grab a lasso, a bell and some cotton candy, go to the clearing and catch a dancing bear. But be careful! Other creatures also like cotton candy. Can they dance too? Noëlle's Barn (Belgium, France, Animation, Dubbed in Portuguese and subtitled in English, 6 min.) Noëlle sets up the Christmas tree when someone knocks on the window. It's snowing outside and Noëlle invites the cat to take shelter in the barn. Then comes the dog, the hen, the goat and the donkey.
