The exhibition, curated by Susana González, is funded by the Region of Murcia through the Instituto das Indústrias Culturais e das Artes, under the plan to boost the Internationalisation of Murcian creators. Promotion and coordination by Mercedes Cerón (Galeria NAVE), the project brings together works from different periods of the artist's career, whose practice starts from materials and textile traditions historically rooted in domestic work, subsistence economies and care dynamics. Bread and thread, the elements that give the exhibition its title, condense two essential needs of human beings — feeding and protecting — and evoke forms of work, especially female, traditionally made invisible and little recognised by professional value systems. Through sewing, embroidery and the reuse of materials, Navarro claims these ancestral knowledges and places them firmly at the centre of contemporary artistic practice. Monday to Friday, from 12h to 19h, Saturday, from 14h to 19h. Technical details: Curated by Susana González.
