Vizinhos, the Évora band that conquered Portugal with 'Pôr do Sol', play live at the Coliseus, presenting their debut album and the hits that made them a national phenomenon.
Producer Universal Music Portugal SA Synopsis “Day 1 starting a band from scratch all the way to the Coliseu” – that was how David Mendonça, Francisco Cartaxo, Tomás Cartaxo and Miguel Brites brought Vizinhos to life, the band that quickly became one of the greatest phenomena in Portuguese music. The digital series documenting the journey of the four young men from Évora from the moment they decided to form a band came to life on their social media and soon invaded the lives of many Portuguese people. Vizinhos were born in early 2025; in March they released what would become the song of the year, “Pôr do Sol”, which quickly earned quadruple platinum status. The following singles continue the success story: “Pobre Ex-Namorado” becomes the soundtrack of summer, quickly reaching platinum, and “Casar É Para Esquecer” paves the way for autumn, immediately entering Spotify's Top 50 and the main national radio stations. With their Alentejo DNA and plenty of authenticity, Vizinhos win over audiences not only with their songs but also in live performances where David Mendonça (voice and accordion), Tomás Cartaxo (voice and guitar), Francisco Cartaxo (voice and mandolin) and Miguel Brites (bass and voice) create an enormous connection with those who watch them, with great empathy and simplicity. As they prepare their debut album, scheduled for release in the first half of 2026, Vizinhos announce the Coliseus and fulfil what has been their first big goal from the start. Expect unique concerts where they will present their debut album, but also songs that are part of their Alentejo DNA and, as good neighbours, they will certainly fill the house with friends for big surprises.
