The Live Sessions at Tivoli Avenida Liberdade are joining, for the third consecutive year, the IV Ibero-American Literature Night, hosting on 14 October at 8:00 PM a special concert inspired by the song “E Depois do Adeus” (And After the Goodbye), chosen as one of the signals of the Revolution of 25 April 1974. Under the title Canções de Amor em Abril (Songs of Love in April), this performance proposes a reflection on love as a force of union, transformation and freedom, evoking the spirit of hope and change associated with the revolution that marked contemporary Portuguese history. On stage will be Maria João and André Gago on vocals, accompanied by João Farinha on keyboards and synthesizers and André Nascimento on electronics. Together, they lead the audience through a musical experience that crosses word, interpretation and contemporary sonorities, in a celebration of memory, culture and freedom.
