At the 5th World Music Week, BOTA expands its programming beyond its venue and brings the OMIRI project to the stage of the Sala Estúdio Valentim de Barros, which reinvents Portuguese roots music. To reinvent tradition, nothing better than bringing the true protagonists of our culture into the show itself; musicians and soundscapes from all over the country playing and singing as if they were part of a single universe. Not in the flesh, but in sound and image, with video recordings manipulated so as to serve as the basis for the composition and musical improvisation of Vasco Ribeiro Casais. This show uses strobe lights that may cause discomfort to people sensitive to intense light stimuli. Caution is recommended for those with photosensitive epilepsy. 12 €. Portuguese traditional music.
