A family treasure hunt at the Museu de Lisboa – Palácio Pimenta: armed only with a mobile phone, participants must decipher riddles and explore the palace and its gardens to find the legendary Key of Freedom, entrusted by D. João IV to the people of Lisbon after the Restoration of Independence in 1640.

Brief Introduction A group of young historians discovers, in the archives of the Museu de Lisboa - Palácio Pimenta, clues to a legendary object that vanished centuries ago: the Key of Freedom. This symbolic artefact is said to have been secretly entrusted by D. João IV to the people of Lisbon, as a gesture of trust and unity after the Restoration of Independence in 1640. But the key was never found… until now. Synopsis Enigmatic documents, hidden digital memories and ancestral codes point to a trail carefully safeguarded over time. Now it is up to the participants of this game, to be played with family and/or among friends, to unravel the secrets that have spanned generations. Palácio Pimenta becomes the setting for a true treasure hunt where history comes to life, and every clue is a piece of the puzzle. Armed only with a mobile phone, curiosity and team spirit, they will have to decipher riddles, reconstruct events of the past and explore the nooks and crannies of the palace and its gardens to find the much-sought-after Key of Freedom.
