Alberto Rodrigues Marques (PT, 1995), artistically known as Beco, presents the exhibition AntiLike, whose first chapter took place in Braga, at the same gallery, and which brings together a selection of recent and unpublished works that establish him as an experimental artist, who builds from the exercise of the body and the mind on the materials. Curated by Helena Mendes Pereira, the exhibition brings together a set of multidisciplinary works, which reveal the creative process to us while ironising on the dramatic dimension of the white cube. AntiLike is also a manifesto, a refusal and a counter-cyclical movement against the epidemic of dependence on public image and large-scale validation.
