In this guided tour with Portuguese Sign Language interpretation, visitors travel back in time to discover the different lives of Casa dos Bicos and its historical and archaeological heritage, from Roman remains to modern Lisbon.

Brief Introduction In this visit we will travel back in time to learn about the different lives of Casa dos Bicos and the rich historical and archaeological heritage preserved in this unique space in Lisbon. Built between 1521 and 1523 by Brás de Albuquerque, Casa dos Bicos is an icon of 16th-century civil architecture. However, its archaeological core reveals a much older history. Roman remains, such as fish-processing factories and defensive walls, mix with traces of medieval and modern Lisbon, testifying to more than 2000 years of evolution. On this visit, a Portuguese Sign Language interpreter joins the Museum's mediation team to foster the conditions for full enjoyment of the heritage. Prices General - 5€
