Journey to the End of Silence

Saturday 31 October

Cinemateca Portuguesa, Lisbon

In October, in this Journey to the End of Silence, the three stops are European, from three countries (Sweden, Italy, Germany) whose highly relevant creative nuclei would shape the History of cinema: EROTIKON, by M. Stiller, an ironic comedy about marriage; RAPSODIA SATANICA (seen here only once, in 2018), with the Diva Lyda Borelli in a faustian pact with the devil; and, finally, A Mulher na Lua (Woman in the Moon), Fritz Lang's last silent film.
