British comedian Jimmy Carr brings his Laughs Funny world tour to the Coliseu dos Recreios, an evening of dark humour and sharp one-liners from one of the biggest box-office phenomena in global comedy.
Producer Kilt Talent Agency, Unipessoal LDA Synopsis Jimmy Carr is an award-winning comedian, writer and television presenter, known for his dark humour and his short, incisive jokes. He is seen by many as a politically incorrect provocateur who spares no one, and by others as a comic figure with teeth that are too perfect, an unmistakable laugh and seemingly unchanging hair. Whichever the perspective, he has been scientifically deemed the funniest comedian in the United Kingdom. One of the biggest box-office phenomena in world comedy, Jimmy regularly performs to sold-out crowds all over the world, drawing laughter — and, at times, gasps of shock — in more than fifty countries. His last tour, Terribly Funny 2.0, sold more than 1.2 million tickets globally and took him to new markets, with shows in India and the United States. In a clear attempt to keep the title of "Hardest Working Man in Comedy", in 2023 he toured 145 cities in 12 countries and 4 continents, performing an impressive 293 shows. In 2024 he presented another 271 shows and, in 2025, added another 285, spread across 19 countries. His current tour, Laughs Funny, kicked off with a tour of the United States on 17 April 2024, then moved on to the United Kingdom, Ireland and several European countries throughout 2025.
