On 27 January 1756, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born in Austria. To celebrate the 270th anniversary of his birth, ÉGIDE, Associação Portuguesa das Artes presents, at the Convento de São Pedro de Alcântara, the Complete Mozart Piano Sonatas, performed by the renowned pianist Artur Pizarro. This is an unprecedented cycle in Portugal and a rare event internationally, given the enormous demands of performing all these works in a single concert cycle. Artur Pizarro, one of the Portuguese pianists with the greatest international profile, will also restore the historical playing order chosen by Sequeira Costa in his celebrated 1956 complete cycle.
Tickets here. 19 and 26 September and 3, 10, 17 and 24 October, at 19h. Piano.
