Terra is an exhibition in which the terracotta sculptures of Beatriz Horta Correia establish an attentive dialogue with photographs from the novobanco Collection, selected by the artist herself. This meeting of works of art unfolds as a layered exploration of matter, memory and landscape. Here, the earth is not merely a medium, but a generative force, a space where gestures accumulate, stories settle and forms emerge. In turn, the photographs from the novobanco Collection by Lucia Kock, Antonio Ole, Albano da Silva Pereira, Júlia Ventura and Gabriel Orozco broaden this reflection, opening new perspectives on how the territory is inhabited, marked and imagined. The exhibition further extends this dialogue through a textile work by Bombony and a video by Miguel Gaspar, which add new sensory and conceptual dimensions to this shared investigation into territory, materiality and the traces we leave behind.
