Brief IntroductionWorkshop for childrenWoodLab Júnior With Raquel Santos*Saturday | 12 December15h to 17h30Target audience: For families [children from 4 years old, accompanied by adults]Participants Min. 5 | Max. 15Registrations until 7 DecemberA creative workshop where wood, imagination and experimentation meet. From the seven pieces of the Tangram, children and adults are invited to explore shapes, discover new combinations and bring their own creations to life. But after all, what is a Tangram?! Tangram is a very old Chinese game - a true puzzle that will make us think! Will we be able, with just 7 geometric shapes, to form the figures we imagine? With Christmas and Winter as inspiration, each participant can create figures, compositions or small stories, without pre-defined models and without limits to the imagination. An opportunity to share quality time between parents and children, stimulate creativity and build memories together. And because we are approaching Christmas, the creations can take on a special meaning: becoming small gifts made with our own hands, such as a picture or composition to offer to a loved one.At the end, children personalize their creation with paints, textures and collages. Each registration includes two Tangram sets and a wooden base, allowing the exploration of different creation possibilities. If the two sets are not used during the workshop, participants may take a complete Tangram home.In case of withdrawal: A full refund of the registration fee will be given when the withdrawal is communicated up to 8 working days before the activity. After that date, the refund can only be considered if the place is filled or in situations of illness, accident, or other unforeseeable circumstances of force majeure, duly proven. If the activity does not take place due to lack of participants, or for any other reason, the registration fee will be refunded in full. For more information contact
*Raquel Santos has always felt a fascination for the transformation of simple materials into objects with a story. She is the soul and craftswoman behind Pinóquio WoodArt, a project born from a passion for craftsmanship, design and the timeless touch of wood. This particular workshop, WoodLab Júnior, was born naturally, after the success and maturity of several experiences and workshops developed in this three-dimensional art in wood with the adult public. It was upon seeing adults marvelled by the relief and construction that Raquel decided to adapt this sensory richness to the youngest. She believes that manual work is a powerful tool to slow down and connect generations. In the WoodLab, she takes on the role of facilitator to guide children to discover, in a free and honest way, the pride of bringing their own ideas to life with their hands.Prices€25 child + adult (materials included)
