Twenty-eight years after its premiere, this new presentation gains a renewed aesthetic dimension through the vision of renowned artists José Manuel Castanheira, José António Tenente, and Nuno Meira, who reinvent the set design, costumes, and lighting design for a contemporary reading of the work. Between memory and reinvention, this new production of Sleeping Beauty opens space for the future projection of one of the most celebrated ballets in the classical repertoire, in line with the bold and innovative artistic path of the National Ballet Company.
