The singer, songwriter (and also writer) Luísa Sobral is preparing to present her eighth album of original songs, Cartas de Desamor. In this work, the artist explores new territories, drawing closer to traditional Portuguese music. The songs were written after a phase of greater introspection, keeping the focus on lyrics and the singer-songwriter tradition, as is her habit. From the new album, the singles Felicidade and the most recent Não sei quem sou are already known — a song that, in her words, “speaks of the moment when we stop and look inward after a long period devoted to parenthood and life outside ourselves”. With special appearances by A Garota Não and Vitorino, Cartas de Desamor will be presented live in November on the stage of the Teatro Tivoli BBVA. €18 to €35. Portuguese music.
